Leigo Lake Music Festival 2026

Sound Forest Trail

At this year's Leigo Järvemuusika Festival, we open the Leigo Sound Forest Trail for the first time – a unique nature and art trail that invites visitors to discover the forest through listening.

The trail weaves together nature, sound, light and contemporary installation art. Walking along the forest paths, visitors experience works born in dialogue with the surrounding landscape – the wind, water, trees and silence. Each stop offers a new perspective on how nature and art can complement one another, and how even the smallest sound can change the way we perceive our surroundings.

The Leigo Sound Forest Trail is designed to offer experiences across the seasons and to become a place to return to – to listen, to discover and to slow down. The trail will be open seasonally at weekends.

As part of the festival, you can also join a special forest walk on 30 July, which leads visitors together through the newly opened sound forest trail. Lauri Lest performs along the way, his music blending into the forest environment and, together with the sounds of nature, creating a unique experience.

The project is co-funded by the European Union through the LEADER community-led local development grant.
