Maajaam

Maajaam is an art and technology farm located in South Estonia. It focuses on exploring, experimenting with and reflecting on the relationships between people, technology and nature. By replacing the urban environment with the hilly countryside, it lets us observe technology in its pure form. Mixing the past technological marvels of a historic farm with contemporary high technology offers a shift in perspective. This perspective is projected through the prism of art.

Maajaam is run by artists Timo Toots and Mari-Liis Rebane and their family. It is an artists’ residency, but also their home and studio. Here is Timo’s creative studio Masinism and the Wild Bits exhibitions.
